What is Radio Frequency?
The treatment begins with cleansing and exfoliation. Then the area is divided into small sections. A protective gel is applied and each section of the skin is heated to 38-43 degrees with a small hand-held device.
This immediately results in an increased blood flow to the area, providing the skin with essential nutrients and oxygen.
Plus there are additional benefits of improved lymphatic drainage and an immediate plumping of the skin.
We like to call this the RF glow, which is evident as soon as you leave the clinic.
What results can you expect from RF
The heat then tricks the skin into producing a “wound-healing” response.
Within three days the skin enters the proliferative phase of tissue regrowth and then remodeling phase for tissue strengthening, stimulating fibroblast cells and the production of collagen, elastin and Hyaluronic.
This stage will last many weeks.
